How do Branscan's Purity Check Systems work?
The systems use specialist camera and lighting technology
that take real time pictures of the product and process
the data according to the customers requirements. This information
can be exported or archived and alarms set to warn operators
of changes in quality.
Do the systems need daily calibration?
No - the systems are unique in that they are the only systems
on the market that can detect impurities in product WITHOUT
daily calibration.
Why are Branscan's systems better than the traditional
methods of detecting impurities?
Traditional methods are time-consuming, often destructive
and subjective. Branscan's methods save time, do not destroy
any product and are objective. The online, real time systems'
alarms can be programmed to
stop production the moment quality falls below a set criteria
Are the systems difficult to install?
No - they are quick and easy to install with no need for
specialist engineers or sophisticated PCs - they run on
Windows XP.
The
online system has up to 4 pneumatically activated measuring
heads that fit directly into the production line and are
connected to individual control panels through one PC. The
laboratory systems are portable and
only weigh 12.5kg.
Are the systems difficult to use?
No - they are configurable to give measurements that customers
recognise and understand.
Why should I worry about impurities in my product?
Lack of quality costs time and money. In some cases contamination
can result in the entire waste of whole batches. Contamination
is the determining factor of the final appearance and purity
of the product and
ultimately the final selling price.
