In the manufacture of PVC, impurities can be naturally found or introduced into the product through the production process. There are currently two methods for analysing the contamination of PVC and both involve taking a sample from the production process or batch sampling the final product. Both methods take time and are non-repeatable - more importantly they are subjective methods of testing. PowderScan PowderCheck P4000 on line system allows the manufacturer to manually optimise the screening or to fully automate the process providing "lights out" production of PVC by checking the product every 15 seconds. This means real time cost and waste control. PowderScan PowderCheck P4000 on line system and the P2000 laboratory system can objectively check the product giving consistent results. The systems are accurate, rapid and non destructive. No daily calibration is required and the systems run on Windows XP. |
